First awards for team.....

This past week was the 07 York BMX track get together....good turnout for the Deluxx boyz...there was Chris M, Chris Z,Rob L and me and the Bug....Mama Deluxx was there to....Z-Man picked up the track Champ for 16yr olds..Great Job....Chris M and Me just spent lots of money during the auction....not much good was bought.....The Bug picked up a "most improved rider"award..it was a total suprise to us...he had a great year...08 will even be better....I hope...Rob's ready for 08..as we all are.....good times were had by all.....I cant belive i am dirt burning again......it cant start soon enough......GBA..cyaa..deluxxy

Yes,I am back again.....good Christmas and end of the year for the shop.....this weekend the season starts for the BMX team..not me but some of the guys are headed to Va for a indoor NBL National....going are Curtis Shook,17/18 ex and cruiser..Robert Whipple A-Pro and for Sat,Kent Gordy,41and up cruiser.....they should do well.....i met up with Whipple on Thursday nite and to say he was jacked up would be putting it lightly......the rest of the guys will start their season in early March in Ohio at a Redline Cup qualifier...me and the Bug included....this is the first time i have sponsered a team and the guys that i have picked are all top racers in the area.....i dont have to push them...they push themselves....iwill post their results later next week....thats all...GBA..Deluxxy

I know..its been awhile since i have made a post....truth be told i have not had much to say(really)...the shops been steady busy..the BMX racins been good..hell got Rob L a bike and he's been racing too....people have been asking me if i miss 'cross....not really...I miss the people the scene is as good as it gets...but its nice not having to worry about training or what you eat....I am not sure if I will be back next year...right now we are planning on doing 13 ABA nationals next year and a handful of NBL....that goes along with a bunch of double and triple point races....the BMX is fun..kinda like 'cross was a while back and the road scene was years ago....now 'cross is still fun if you are prepaired...good people and good racing..the road just is the same as its been for years now.....i will leave it at that.....its Thanksgiving today and i am very thankful for all that i have..my family and loved ones..my business and friends...our great country and Armed services...God Bless America...BTW..the LEGEND Marc Light showed up at the shop the other Sat...me and Stoner count that as one of the all time best saturdays ever at Deluxx...most of what was said cannot be repeated.....you never know who is listening.......take care all.....GBA..Luxxy

Yeah,I started my '07 'cross season on Sat at De....plain and simple I sucked....BMX is not the best training for cross..nor did i think it would be....bottom line..the MAC Elite masters class is really tough...period.....alas i will be back....hopefully better then Sat.....we will see......tons of respect for EVERYBODY out there.. Thanks to the help from Dan and Rob....of course the BMX is going well and the Bug won another one on Sun....Go Rockies..Boston Sucks.....GBA...CYAA..Luxxy

Well the 'cross season has started...without me for a change.....felt a little weird on Sun when we first got to York and thought about my Brothers and sisters suiting up down in Md...It was hot..to hot for 'cross...I raced BMX instead..Bug doubled up on Sun..a win in York and Lebanon...I went 2nd and 3rd for the day....Congrats to Brother Marc for his win on Sunday...great start to your season....cant wait to beat up on you guys.......its to soon to tell how anyones going to be this year....give it a couple of weeks.....I know how i am going to be....hurting.......we are doing the BMX team for next year...one of my riders has already kicked ass this year...old pal Kent Gordy racing 41 to 45 cruiser smoked them at the east coast Redline Cup Finals the other week in S C..that means he can run a number 1 for the rest of the year and next too....hes also sitting NAG # 2 in our class...big stuff...Congrats to him...we should have a good BMX team next year....cya all soon...take it easy on me....GBA..Luxxy

I know,its been a month since my last post..been busy....racing went well for me in Aug..Made both my mains at Milford..the Bug only made Sunday.....other then winning the 6yr old state title Aug was flat for the Bug......he reached his goal though.....'cross is coming soon and i could care less this year.....I dont know whats wrong...just not into it this year......so all you Masters that i beat up on the last 6 yrs now is your chance to get back at me......i think i am just doing some of the PA series and the MAC...no MABRA this year...I think the rule change for masters sucks....i dont care about racing with the elites..its just to late in the day for me.....shops been busy..all is well..just got to get the Bug back to his winning ways....GBA.....Cyaa..Luxxy

10%..thats what i am behind the fast guys in BMX....don't sound like much..it's the difference between making your main and not making your main.....and thats getting beat by fat guys too....BMX is the only real sport where fat guys can still be fast.....really.....it sucks getting beat by guys who if i put them on a road bike they would last 5 mins......the Bug is racing real good right now...he is up to 7 wins as a inter and is sitting on top of the state points going into Pa state champ for 6yr olds...this weekend is another ABA nats in Del..we will be there of course....the Bug will do fine....I just want to make a main....no mean feat at a National...36-40 cruiser class is fast.....so far it has been a nice change from the road...it's no cheaper..thats for sure......wish me luck...God do i need it.........GBA..cyaa in the dirt...Luxxy

Back in the BMX wars...crashed more this past weekend then i did in 20 yrs of road and 'cross....i quess that means i am trying hard....the Bug is racing well...he has 2 wins so far in Inter....i will still get a lower district number then he will.....the Tour kinda sucks so far...but i can tell you watching the racing this year there is no one doping..they are going to slow.......it looks wide open.....its fun to get out on the road already since ive been BMXing....i knew it would work.....Cyaa luxxy GBA....

Yeah,its been awhile..I've been busy....so the Bugs been racing alot of BMX lately..anyone who really knows me had to know that this was coming....I started racing BMX again....why not?..the road scene has just kinda sucked for me this year and i felt like i needed the break...fear not faithful..i still plan on doing the whole 'cross season...hell,might make me stronger.....let me tell you that just cause i raced years ago dont make it ANY easier..its not........but in some kind of weird way its been fun so far....i get to spend even more time with the Bug and pass on some pointers....still training as much as before on the road so,No worries.......a bikes a bike..........cya on the track...GBA..Luxxy

Happy Fathers Day to all....i spent today with the family...we raced this afternoon at York..BMX that is..the Bug needed two more wins to more up to Intermediate..kinda like cat 3.....i was going to race at Cargas today...but after yesterdays shitty showing and a late nite at the Phillies game it was a no show for me....i just was not in the mood.......so it was off to york for the first of a 2 races for the Bug....he likes the York track and it showed as he won his first moto and the main...one down and one to go....home to the Lebanon track...he did the same as in York and that was all he needed to move up....so now it gets alot harder...as we were coming home he said how he was glad he moved up because it was not a challange anymore....can ya tell i am PROUD....what a great Fathers day gift.....yesterday sucked for me..i raced like a knob and needed today off.....The Kid and the Wife make it all worth while......I am so Blessed....I have got to make racing more fun for me...i quess thats what 'cross is for.......Rest in Peace Pops..i miss ya.....GBA..cyaa..luxxy

Yes,my favorite show is back on..Rescue Me on FX...so now not only do i have "the Sopranos" reruns on A/E on weds nite right after that is RM...does it get any better???..Jr signs with Hendrick..yeah,who didnt see that one coming.......Philly week was good this year...Reading was good last Thurs..and Philly was sick fast.....took the bug with to Reading...Uncle Boner saved the Bugs life on thurs in the feed zone...them water bottles are worth jumping into the peloton for.....Thank God the "Swift" did not hit him.....if you dont know what that is check out Dennis Smiths photos to see the number 1 team car of ALL times..the Columbian teams "Swift".....the shops been really busy and me and the Bug got lots of racin in the next bunch of weeks.....No worries......GBA.....cyaa...Luxxy "Free The BUG"

Been racn alot..not me,my kid...2 weeks ago was York,Race for Life on Sat and a Redline Cup race on Sunday...a pair of seconds.....next up was the PA national up in Clarks Summit....he raced Open and Class...a pair of 3rds on sat....Sunday we came home and went to the Lancaster Pro race...kinda boring this year.....raced the local track on Tuesday nite..he won...BTW,he has not finished worst then third all year....hell,hes doing way better then me........went to Reading Thursday with the local crew....took the Bug too....good day out.....look for the Bugs picture on Dennis Smiths site.....Rite Aid rode well...this weekend is Philly and then late on Sunday afternoon is Lebanons tracks Race for Life....the HVB boys have rode well the last few weeks..Todd and Alex had good rides at Mt.Penn....shops been crazy too.....Have fun....GBA....Cyaa..Luxxy

Did T-town CR today...35+..small but great field....right from the start me and a Elite rider did what we normally do..attack..well not really attack but roll off the front faster then the rest of the group.....up to the small hill..i look back and here comes Lighty and Linart and one other guy..we got a gap.....we worked poorly the first few laps away then we got our shit together....the gap grew and everybody did their share....i was a bit puffed when out of the bunch comes up to us Paul P,Miller,Jesse G and Ted I..might have been a couple of other guys too...well they split it in a lap or so..I got shelled when it split...chased like mad for 2 laps and finally drifted back to the group...got within 5ft but could not close the deal....slipped into top 10 of bunch for a while and then slid back.....low and behold brother Stoner,doing his 4th race of the weekend!!$&&*..slipped past me...quik word and he tows me back up to the front...2 to go..great job Stoner....wait, jump with whats left around the back and finish strong......should have not got dropped from that break......live and learn......great job today from HVB....it sucks getting dropped.....GBA...cyaa..dluxxy

In the bike biz,and most others by now EVERYBODY sez "no worries" for EVERYTHING.....i first heard it a few years ago from a aussie freind...NOW everyone is from down under....when you here it in the bike business it means you wont get it when you need it or its really backordered to be shipped later.......TH was last week..good race..sat in most of the day had plenty in the tank at the end..just waited to long to move up(again)..one of these years i will get it right....Sunday is Rodan? park up at T-Town..i always like racn there so we will see....Mom and Bug are in Fla for the week..flying solo.......got a invite to take the mike at a big upcoming Mtb race.....maybe......lots of BMX for the bug coming up in the next few weeks...both a Redline Cup race and the Keystone Nats....hes been going real good so far this year..2 seconds and a win last week....Pops is real happy.......soon there can be a whole team of (ex)dopers........lots of team leaders.......might ride to the shore this week with the locals just to see the carnage.....it could be very ugly.....no worries....Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms out there...hardest job in the world.....GBA...cyaa..luxxy

Farmersville was this past weekend...now i know its not called that anymore but to me it will always be...got to go by the Landis Empire on Sat...cant blame him for NEVER wanting to come back....within a year he will be working at the local flea market.....Sat was normal 40+ road race...small group up the road and it stays away..local good guy Ken W from GS covers the move and comes in a great 3rd...last lap was crazy..i look for Joe M or Gordons wheel...they have each other so its over to the GS train...going good until Head Ass Larry K from Jersey sits up and runs a bunch of us into the field....i am spending more time in dirt then on the road this year....of course i let him know how i feel on cool down....he gives back as good as i give to him until i bring up 'cross races he "promoted" a while back.....That shut him up......cant wait to lap him this fall.....Sunday was TT and crit....rode tempo in the tt and survived the crit ..great race...i slid in the top 20...HVB had good showings from the kid in cat 5 on sat and the cat 3 guys rode well....on to my thorn in my side..Turkey Hill...another good race....i am going to try to be a good boy this weekend...give me lots of room....GBA....Cya..deeluxxy

Yesterday i said that there would be a suprise winner at Roubaix...well O'grady did it...i dont recall him on the top of anyones list,mine included..but a great win never the less..all 15 mins of it we got on Vs....now i am thankful for ANY tv we get of Euro cycling..on to the rant....the tv time of Flanders and PR was as bad as it gets...now i know that most of the US dont give a rats ass about cycling so why week in and week out do we need the human intrest storys the go along with all the shows this year...you are not going to turn on any new viewers....the only people watching are bike riders and racers....show the funkin race..thats what we tune in for....they show alot more of the other big shows on Vs..PBR,Horse jumping..for Christ sakes,the funkn horse people dont even watch that shit......dont even get me started on the team of "Troutwig","Useless" and Roll.....the US Open was cool to watch but oh so painful to listin to.......note to Useless,a race is not a "classic" in its first try....give it a few years if it lasts that long.....OK,thats enough....better a little then none at all......GBA..cya..luxxy

As i start this post i look out the window from Hq..i see my kid riding around on my Brother-in-laws 4-wheeler..the thing is big..he's 6 1/2..no worries..before they rode the 4 wheeler they shot off rockets....never a dull moment in Goosetown,'burb of Cornwall......rode around at Mt Joy today..yeah,there was a race..i was in it...sucked hind tit....most of the field did...felt ok..just not that great....last lap split ended it for the15 to 20 guys that were left...that does not stop a few RACERS from going for that high paying 10th or 13th place...one guy on the deck..right in front of me....into the farmers field i go.....thank God it was not plowed..no problems...good training....saw lots of 'cross buddies....HVB,the green monster,had a good ride from the Kid..4th in cat 5..look out 4's he coming soon....Stoner hung tough....watch for him in the 123 at LP next week..oh momma.....he will finish just for spite....i hope he does.......another good week at the shop....shitty weather and no BMX tomarrow nite..the Bug will be hard to live with.....BTW,The BUG is lil johns nickname......Cya..GBA.....watch for a suprise winner at PR Sunday..thats my pick....deLuxxy

First race of '07 today at Pinecones RR...never did this race before....nervous 40+ w/about 65 starters..talked with old 'cross bud Jeff Cordisco..hes already talking about 'cross.....he was riding a sweet Weiler..you know Jeff,nothing but the best complete with SRM.....w/new black kit he looked kinda like HVB..only slower.......race went well,came home with all my skin..sat a t the back going into the last lap...waited to long to move up...felt so/so in the middle but then felt great late...live and learn...finished maybe in the top 20....Alex the Kid in his 2nd cat 5 race had another good one with a top 15 maybe..Stoner played tailgunner...if they ever pay DFL he will make a mint.........at least he's out there...good job by HVB....feeling better each week...good week at the shop too...next up is Mt joy then LP and TdE....away we go.....GBA...cyaa..deluxxy

Yeah,its been awhile....not much to write about...just training and working....good racin on TV the last couple of weeks...last stage at Paris/Nice was as good as it gets and MSR was great to watch too...i hate to say it ,but Vs is doing a good job...so far....great NASCAR the last few weeks...the shop has been busy(good)..racin will start soon for me..i am getting there.....with any luck "Injun Joe" will get flicked from Ai this week.....Cya..GBA..Luxxy

Another weekend another training ride in the cold and wind...felt good today....even better when i got home and got to switch between the Phillies,the Busch race from Mexico..in spanish by the way....and The Godfather.....the only thing that would make it better would have been a Cup race.....BTW Hebe..did you see your girl Pickle the other nite?...Money well spent!!! the shop has survived its first year....now it gets good....the 1st year is easy....that was a tough call today at K-B-K..after yesterday only a act of God would have kept Boonen from winning....should be a (yawn) good classics season.....7 months till ' cross...the countdown starts....GBA....Cyaa..Luxxy

This past week things got back to kinda normal..the shops still dead as hell..thanks winter......March looks to be starting out good..some big stuff moving early..Thank God....this past week was good as i seen some old friends..Brother Jake made a rare visit on Sat....he might be the smartest Redneck in the world...really....on friday two blokes from Holmes shop up in Hebeville came in...just checking out the small but good shop in downtown Lebanon....I think i knew them from somewhere..Good Guys....good miles this weekend....today i did my Badger look alike ride from L-B-L 1980....ToC finished up today...was really pullin for The Pate.....love those outfits.......the US teams showed how big that gap really is.......does anyone know what JP is doing? and why he is not racing on a US team this year..cant do any worse then most of them......ah well,they are there and I am not......A big Deluxx thanks to all who sent well wishes in the last week or so..Thanks....GBA...Cyaa..luxxy

It's been a while since my last post...alot has happened in my life..last saturday morning after the fight of my Mothers life she passed...she fought till the bitter end..they gave her till weds or thur she hung on till Sat...we all got the greatest of gifts by having the chance to say goodbye to her...she was a great woman...she worked hard her whole life...she did a pretty good job with me and my brother and sister...she got to see her 4 grandsons and spend lots of time with them....both my parents are gone now...thats ok..i got my family and siblings around and all of my friends out there...take advantage of all the time you have to spend with your loved ones..you never know.....Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers....it sucks she will miss Daytona...if she has her way Kasey K will win......God speed Mother...you will be missed....you only get ONE mom.....I Love You....God Bless....cyaa..Luxxy

I hate the cold and winter....it kills the bike biz...ah well,my problem not yours...rode with Stoner and the Kid on sunday...Fuckn cold..and me being the shop owner was not dressed right at all..had to go and jack my heart rate up just to stay warm..2hrs was like 5....AI kinda sucks so far this season...what do you think He/B ?? so this week is 'cross worlds....JP will be well within the top 10 and it will be a Belgium winner ,that was hard....Nys or Wellens....maybe a Jr top 5 too...US that is....Stay warm brothers and sisters....GBA..cyaa..deluxxy..

Winter has finally showed up in the valley....I hate cold and snow,'nuff said....in beautiful downtown Lebanon there has been a rebuilding of sorts...A new market and a ton of coffee shops...within 1 block of Lebanons finest bike shop there are 4 shops..now,one has been there a while,thats my mon/tue shop then there is the Market CS..i get the bean there on weds thru sat...the other shops a bit of a walk(1 block) and its the way out there on the LEFT shop...one is set to open this week..Haven't sampled their fair yet...we also have a Turkey Hill in that area...so thats 5 places to get your fix...i include the hill just you can get something that looks like coffee...i love to stand in line at these places and listen to the people order their bean..what ever happenend to plain old coffee? the other day a older guy who wanted to look young ordered a coffee...he wanted a med with a shot of some kind of berry flavor..WTF...i always tell the girls at CCT to make up a pot of "normal" coffee..they dont listen....the kid likes his warm with a bit of sugar....pray for OUR troops...GBA...oh,BTW,how cool is a World Cup in Ri going to be......cyaa..luxxy

Happy New Years to all.....as I read Marcs post about this past weekends MTB ride I realized that my road rides up here are pretty boring....I don't take alot of time off anymore,right into the early season miles...sundays are always 3+ hours in the saddle..the normal gang is Million Mile Rob(the guy commutes EVERYDAY and then tacks miles on that before he goes home,he has not missed a day in YEARS)plus he rode 400 mile in less then 24 hrs last year...no speed,but he goes for hours at a good pace.....Jeff A,this guy looks like he stepped out of 1984...steel bikes and all..another mileage junky who can go and go......when we went down and did the Hanover metric last Sept a couple of the guys made fun of Jeff's getup,I told them that he could ride both of them into the ground without even standing up(BTW,I have rode with this guy for years and have NEVER seen him stand up..really)good guy ......then there is Stoner..he has been a buddy of mine for years....he races and knows what he is doing....he also complains as much as I do............another good guy....then there is Alex..the kid,he came into the shop last April and 4 bikes later has become the shops best friend..if he starts racing this spring look out..super strong climber and he learns real fast..he could be a 2 by fall...really..Tim T joins us to..Alex likes making him chase him all over the valley...he works really hard..he should do well in the 50+ this year.....we are a pretty boring group...a little banter at the start and then just steady miles....oh i forgot to add that Rob and Jeff will do 3/4 hrs on sat and then the same on Sunday..only on Sunday Rob rides his tandem with another strong man on the back.....they put up with me so you know they are all good guys.....another month of those rides and then we start training for real in Feb...it never ends.....and that's a good thing.....cyaa on the roads.....GBA...luxxy

I always hate the week between Christmas and New Years...dont know why,just do...the brain trust is out of school this week so i am happy to take all of their X-Mas money..rich BMX kids..got to love them......had a good ride on X-mas eve sunday with the locals...3+ hrs..felt good to get back out on the road for a semi long one....just read Fatmarcs post about Rick Milhills..a class act..really he is one of many in the Masters class...just saw what some of the promoters are ASKING us to pay to race on the road this year....$29...and i think the nitwit is only paying 3 deep....when is it going to end...never..i will be there like everyone else....10 years from now 29 will look cheap.......ahh,who cares,9 months till 'cross....be careful on amateur nite....GBA...cyaa.luxxy

PA states and MABRA(Md/De)states this past weekend....Sat was Pa states at Carlisle fair grounds,BTW a MAC race would go REAL well at that place..HINT HINT...anyways..small but good field.....Pflug takes off hard with Sean m in tow then me..group of six right aways...Pflug,Mealey,Andy G,Brian W Kirk R and me...lots of attacks with Brian pulling real hard for Jerry...with a couple to go Andy attacks and I cover with Pflug..we gap and go for broke...he pulled for a little bit and then I took over...Kirk R was chasing hard...we get the bell and keep our gap...last turn out on the road..i rail it and make it...go like hell and win the thing....felt good....Thanks to HVB...Sunday was MABRA...small field again with Kris Auer...off we go and i pick a couple of bad lines and Kris is away and we wont see him again....he had a good ride, I cruised in 2nd...not a bad weekend.....felt good after last weekend..feeling good going into the last 3 weeks of the season....time will tell...'cross is fun again..Marc V sez thats good....Thanks to the promoters this past weekend..good job...3 more to go....GBA...cyaa..luxxy
BTW,on the way home today we hit G-burg..went to the outlets on Rt15 first...i am sitting there with the kid waiting on the boss lady to exit a store when this women with her two kids in tow come out of the same store..she sez to her kid"a 7 hr round trip for one bag"...all the way from jersey....and i thought i had it bad...went into Gettysburg...the place has become sad...nobody cares about what happenend there..only with how much junk they can sell..hit a few stores that use to sell good books and such..now its all tourist crap..sad....build that casino.....

OK,where to begin....as most of my readers know i am a cyclocross racer..that means you race in ALL kinds of shit....but today was as bad as it gets..it did not have to be that way....if that was the best changes that could be made to that course what do you really do at all the races you go to.......now i am very thankful for ANYONE who puts on a race..and thanks to GUYS and EVO for this weekends joy...all i am saying is you dropped the ball..you really should pat yourself on the back cuz i did not think you could add anymore running..but you found ways too..must have been all those "late nite changes".. great job...next time when looking at the next years course site think a little bit about the weather in Nov..not may or june when you pick a spot...i really should not be so hard..i kinda thought going down there today that you would have us run though the stream for a-ways...well, theres always next year....i heard one of the promoters say yesterday that he thought that it was starting to "firm up" and would be great on sunday..maybe he ment out on the driveway.........this is only a SMALL sample of the way i feel and how lots of others feel...they wont say anything...i have broad shoulders..no worries here..i am not and have never been afaid to speak my mind...if you have any problems with what i think,look me up at next weeks race...i dont hide...you cant control the weather but you can control the route you take...step up..not down...i know you guys know what to do..prove me wrong and do it....the MAC has become a great series,with your help...but this weekends showing was not up to it...sorry...luxxy

OK,the Tour De Maryland is over....the MABRA wrapped up this weekend...sat was Leesburg Va...same place as last year..shorter course...long story short,Me,Skinny Rick and Blair..with Kutney chasing the whole race after a first lap stack...Skinny takes off just as the BEST turning racer in the Mid Atlantic samples the local trees...i got around him and chase Rick..Blairs on me so i think its best to lead..we get to the last turn and i punch it and low and behold i almost catch Rick at the line...Blair 3rd with Kutney right behind...Rick has had a GREAT year...so far we have not finished out of the top 4...hall ass home for supper and i feel like shit all nite....Sunday the traviling circus is in Md...same as last year..right from the gun its Skinny,Blair,Mark and Me with Jeff C'disco bringing up the 5th spot...Randy Root stacks it in the first turn so thats it...Chuckle head Sean chased the whole race and came in a good 6th...last lap i had a brain fart and let a gap open..got back on just as they threw it down....Kutney ends the STREAK and wins a great one...Blair 2nd with skinny 3rd,Me right behind in 4th...Disco,5th...good race....next week its back to the real world in Hebeville...it was good to see RR this past weekend....hats off to all the MABRA people..great series....congrats to all....thanks to Judd for bringing my jacket today...the HVB crew that came this weekend did well..thanks to Steve for pitting for me on Saturday and thanks to Elizabeth and Wes the C for the same today.....cyaa on Sat...GBA..luxxy

Well the first big week of 'cross in the Mid-Atlantic is history....the Elite masters class was very hard this weekend..it seems everyone has stepped up their game this year and i do not expect any more easy races.....yesterday in De was ok...i like Toms races and sat was no change...got a shitty start and felt kinda blocked all day..ended up 14th...lots of GOOD guys behind me so i will take it....Sunday was Kellys race and i like it too...same field a bit better start but same result..14th..today was one speed day i just could not go any faster...seemed the same guys ahead of me except Storm who won....so much for front row start spot...not next week...i like Beacon so no worries....the fields so far are real good...anyone in the top 20 is working real hard..hell anyone out there is busting their ass....so off to Jersey next week for the traviling circus....cyas in NJ...GBA..deluxxy

Saturday was Hagerstown MABRA race..last year was a mess..it was good i checked race times on friday nite..i would have gone to the old race location....the course this year was short but fun...i think we did something like 13 laps....right from the gun it was Me,Skinny Rick and Kutney...Chuckle Head Sean was chasing but never got to us....that was it...we rolled around laped a bunch of guys and waited till the last lap...Marc kinda got picked behind some lappers...me and Rick took off to the last turn..i knew who got to it first and out fo it was going to win....he got me to the turn,I dug hard coming out and IF we had another 5 feet i would have got him those two guys are two of the best around..it was a honor to ride around with them on Saturday....2nd's not to bad....next up is IC lite..more a mtb race then a 'cross race...no worries...i cant wait till De....Hunt valley/Marathon Roofing again was on fire..we put 2 in the top 5 of Masters..won the b's with Todd...i dont know with this posting what went down with the A's but i am sure Sean G rode well....so thats it...kinda glad i skipped NE worlds....God Bless America..Happy B-day Marc...cyaa..Luxxy

last week and the next 2 weekends are what i like to call the TdM...i like racing the MABRA..it has become a little what the MAC was a few years ago(pre-UCI)good races and nice turnouts...this year is really to my liking because it sort of gets you ready for the slam fest that is the MAC..now i think the MAC has become if not the best, the second best run series in the country...it was good to see everyone last week and turnouts look to be great again this year...i dont think there will be a NE worlds for me this year..i wanted to go up to MASS but with the shop and all i think i will wait till next year...last week the bikes worked great and i am a beliver in tubulars..Sunday will tell me how things work in the mudd....it will be good as long as there are no get offs like last year....cya all sunday..GBA..luxxy

Ok,the season started today..you all know that....great race and location..good job to all that had a hand in it....that said, me and Rob L rolled into town..in our own rides,of course..its way to early in the season to ride with me in the Green squeek machine...if you know me you know why.....good field of old guys again this year...Skinny Rick killed all..Mark K kept him Co.....i got by the stack on the off camber but just could not get up to them....i knew the Del locamotive was comin(Blair S)it took him about a lap to get me then he sat on a lap...he is human after all...Jeff C having a great ride came up to us with about 3/4 to go...yo-yoed a bit..Train went with about 1 1/2 to go...i could not catch the express...he almost caught Mark...I rode away from Jeff about the same time...Rick,Mark,Blair and me...a good start....to many guys and gals rode well to mention...but i cannot forget the mighty HVB..the Green Monster came out to play today....Todd rode his wheels off in the B race...and the A's shined brightly...Sean G,Skip and the new winner of this weeks "Chuckle Head of the Week" Sean Mealy...the other week he calls me all proud that he found and bought a bunch of Lion of Flanders flags in G-burg...i thought good,i need another one for the shop...today i go to get my flag and i find out that they where really the Scottish national flag....he was close....he will now be forced to watch the last 5 yrs Rhonde....good ride today BTW,Sean M....good start to the year...cya all in Md.....GBA...deluxxy

Boy,you can feel it now..'cross will be he real soon...i have been wearing sweatshirts at the shop the last 2 days...this year i have joined the tubular group..dont ask why..i thought i would spend more this year...we got new bikes coming in the next two weeks so Charm City will be one of my 1st rides on it...no worries..got a set of Mavic SL's for race wheels and got a set of heliums from Nate D for the spare bike..hell,i am a shop owner..why not?..if they dont work out i wont lose much on e-bay....teammate Sean M calls me today from Gettysburg,seems he has found a place with Lion of Fladers flags..well they did have them..i think he bought them all..dont buy a flag from him this season for $20.00...getting together with the Green team on Monday for a ride..should be fun....Hebe, i went with Vittorias 34's for my spare wheels..you said they are good..i also took your advice and changed to Crank Bros pedals for this year....i almost bought soom Dugies tubs..then i woke up and realized i dont need fuckn $100 tyres...it sound like the "roadies" are coming this year..the more the better........well,time to get to training....in front of the tv watching Nascar qualifing for Sunday nite....only in America...Thank God..GBA...cyaa..Luxxy

Hey all...yeah,its been a while since the last update...been busy at the shop and getting ready for our season to start..the kid starts school this Monday so thats going to be a big day..he had the bus ride thing on thursday nite and when they got back the put his PM kindergarden class in their room..thy all found their seats and sat down and were quite..fuckn scary...might do a few more races on the road this year but the trainings been fun without thinking about racing so we will see...so i read that FatMarc is racing for the Fort team this year..we tried to get him but could not pay him the big bucks he got from them...Congrats buddy...the monsters been racing BMX this summer and has 3 or 4 good wins so far(fuckn more then me) he had his best moto this past Sunday..can you say PROUD...the best part is he knows how to use his elbows..just like POP.....less then a month,can you feel it?? Today i did Mt.Penn CR down in Reading..man,that town is a armpit..anyways did the 40+..small but good field..held on the old WEEU course up on mt penn..that was the site of my first road bicycle race back in '88..we started over 300 racers that day...i was one hurting puppy ...somethings never change....it seems i just cant climb the semi long stuff anymore...i finished but that was about it......was down at Park City a little while ago with the tribe..if you live around here go right now and check out the blond that works at the body percing stuff keask..you WONT be disappointed...all shes missing is the pole.....TOP SHELF...i am still not betting on Floyd to do it..we will see...got the kid a pair of those croc shoes tonite...hes cooler then me and the boss..i think me and the monster are going to see 3 Doors Down and Skynyrd tomarrow nite in Hershey..bet he hooks up with some little hottie....might have to bail him out...BTW,Jens is the man...GBA...cyaa..luxxy

2 till 'cross starts...i can tell by checking my email this afternoon that LOTS of people are getting antsy...God people, think a little..anyone on the MAC thread will know what i mean...i do want to thank the MAC powers that be for the change in our time this year....this past Sunday was up to my favorite city in PA..sport fest crit..40 +..not to much effort at the start...let my self drift to to back and of course it splits into 2 groups..till i move up and go to the front and pull for a lap and a half it was game over...first time this year i was not really watching the good guys...my fault..at least the kid won his kids race...hell,hes doing better then me so far this year...i quess thats the way its suppose to be...got a call from a guy in Texas that talked to me at the Lancaster Pro race..he wanted a Ridley...he is going to be the proud owner of a Damocles...that was a GOOD talk...it always pays to be nice...it took me a while to learn that...GOOD LUCK to all the locals at Nats...thats all...GBA..cyaa..luxxy

God,it feels like a Sunday...all i did all day was sit on my ass and watch todays stage like 3 times..oh,i did ride for a while...in the heat of the day of course...felt ok..i was really beat on Sunday after Ed Peters CR...Sat was a so/so day...lighty and some x-pro from Jersey got away...little groups off and back...i went with most of them...my luck the last group without me in it stays away..lighty came back from his break..that dont happen much..sat on him on the last lap and came in maybe in the top 15..there were around 7 or8 away..of course 'cross bud Eric S made the break..the guy is dipped....Sun ..i was just plain knackrd..short CR...so i take a flier on the 1st lap..they let me hang out there for a lap or so...like i was going anywere....Miller takes off and solos after riding there from home...Super Stud...one of the K2 guys hits me from behind on the hill and takes half the field down with 1 to go...i dont think it was MY fault......last lap, we ride tempo up the hill and tip toe into the last turn...i thought we were going to get off and walk it....it took me a while to bring up my big gear..a little to long....finally starting to feel better...next up another trip to Allentown...i fuckn hate Allentown...good tour so far...too bad for Dekker and Fred..oh and Alejandro too....BTW..to all race promoters out there..thanks for putting on races that we can do..just one thing...either give us good directions or put some FUCKN SIGNS up...thanks...God Bless America...till my next bitch....cyaa..luxxy

Whoa...what a morning in France...all the remaining riders have just moved up the ladder...i will have to change my predictions...1st..usa 2nd..usa...as to yesterdays post,i did not mean to sound that Floyd could never win the tour..just not with this team...now,who knows...i would love to see Floydy win..i know him and raced him back in the day on Mtb..(he was a Jr and we were both sports,my last year as one)trained with him,he was and still is i am told a monster trainer....i have got to give the Frogs credit..they got balls..this would not have happended on this scale anywere else....so now, who knows what will happen tomarrow..if the race goes on it will still be a good one...IF they have no bad days..Floyd 1st..Evans 2nd...Levi 3rd..Geo will be top 5,maybe..we will see if they all even start...oh yeah,Miller will win the prologe...and the beat goes on...GBA..cyaa..luxxy

Ahhh..tour time...almost here,the fastest 3 weeks of the year...this year looks to be pretty good if they kick off all the big named riders in the Spanish doping fuck up...Floydy has got to be lovin it if Basso and "rudys son" get the flick..thats not to say that Floyd cant win it if they are there(he cant)...I got to think if the Tour does what they say they are going to do the riders will strike..time will tell..got to pick up some blank tapes for the tour..i tape every minute of it...yeah,i know most of it sucks( anyone other then Phil/Paul talking)i do it mostly to piss the boss lady off..we need 12 or 13 more tapes laying around...Ed Peters this weekend..i like that race ..dont know why...good weeks at the shop,plenty busy...we did Inner Harbor and Gettysburg this past Sunday...there are alot of PINHEADS in Baltimore...Gettysburg is always fun for me and number 1 son...the boss lady has had enough of it over the years...i even asked her to marry me on Little Round Top...yeah,i cant belive she said yes...then we went to eat at Hoss's..the last of the big spenders..thats right,i made her pay......should be a fun next couple of days till the tour starts..if it starts....GBA..cyaa..luxxy

It was a good week of racin this past weekend,Sat was Denver..40+ small but good field..ended up 5th..Sun was Cargas..Pa Masters Crit...BIG field..jumped around,did my usual amount of work and ended up 18th i think..the kid raced a State Qualifier on Sun PM,he got 2nd...again...they had like 30 motos and the BMX people act like it was a national or something...boy have things changed in that sport...things are going good in the shop..lots of work,some of it good some not so good...but it all pays the bills...starting to see alot of the 'cross brothers and sisters..its going to be a good year...you can tell the masters that are taking road nats serious..they are flying..good luck to all from our area that are going out..i will wait till December for mine....God Bless America...cyaa..luxxy

A happy week at Lebanons best bike shop...good training too since the Monster was with his aunt most of the week...sat we race in the AM in the Lancaster Series...and Sunday, Cargas...always a thorn in my side...gonna try to change that this year...got to make some breaks.funkn tired of working and not getting anywhere...Muttonhead has a State race Sunday PM so that should be fun..it will be his biggest race so far...i told him all i want for fathers day is a good showing..he will deliver...he better....soon time to make my call for the Tour...wont be hard...thank God Rescue Me is on in the summer,TV really sucks this time of year...the reruns of Earl and the Office make Thursday nite good though...it sucks that the West Chester race does not have a masters race..thats one good crit...raced with 'cross comrade Ralf from Highland Park at Wiss on Sat..you know, the dude that looks like he is 60..hes good on the road too....should see him tomarrow...long trip for that race......saw Chris Long the other week too...soon time to get ready to get ready....3 1/2 months....thats all for now..GBA..cyaa..luxxy

Ahhh..another Philly week comes to a close...'cross is soon right around the corner..raced up at Wiss CR on Sat...worked hard with no result but felt good...more bullets for the fall put away...went down to Core States on Sunday..yeah,i know its not that anymore..i have been to everyone held in Philly..seemed strange this year with only one Pro tour team...Disco should be ashamed of themselves...fuckin to good to send a "token" team to the biggest one day race in the US..they will be the first ones to bitch when it goes away...had a good time anyways...saw bud Kelly Sat and Sun..good guy,BTW,Wiss CR was a great race..good job people...the kid raced BMX last nite,running a strong second in his main he took a dive and ended up 4th...tomarrow nite he will right things...this Sunday is a state race or something so that should be a good turn out..we are going to do a National in July...so far the BMX team is doing real good...we almost always win all our classes every week...soon time to go after some team trophys...feeling better on the bike every week..less is more......cyaa..GBA..luxxy

It seems like a month since i posted last..not that i ever have too much to say......the lil lux has been racing bmx..5 and under nov,thats like cat 5..i started a team and he races with his teamate every week,they do good..there is only 3 or 4 of them...so far he has 2 seconds..last Sunday i raced the lancaster Am race before the pros...to make a long story short it was hard and fast..one crash and i get caught right behind it...i was not going anywere anyways..it did feel good to finish it and know that my training is working....saw lots of MAC brothers and Sisters..i was going to race Reading today but the babysitter baged out at the last min...i can wait till Sat at Wiss..Sun the tribe will head down to Phila for the Big Race..have not missed one in Plila...Leech you have been warned...my favorite show started last week,Rescue Me..this year looks to be great...5 stars...thats all for now..GBA..cyaa..Luxxy

Monday is Memorial Day,you all know that..its a day that we are off of work,spending time with family or racing and training..but to me it is a lot more...now,those of you who read this stuff know that i do not get on a soap box very much..i save it for when i see you in person but that is another story... The results from this weekends trip to York were good ones,not in finishing place but in the fact i felt good yesterday..the 40+ was why i went,right from the gun a small group noodles off..everybody looks at one another..with the wind they thought no way are the going to stay out there...with strong man Zban with them there would be a chance,when G.S Lancaster throws a blanket over the bunch it is mighty hard to get away....about half way though another group goes with a GS escort they get across we,the field keep getting close on the hill...Me,Joe M and few other guys are working hard..everybody else setting in...looking back i dont blame them...now,i hate to just ride around so i work..i made Ken from GS's day when i yelled at the bunch to do a little work..he said it was like the "old Days"..well we brought back some of the splintering group late,i had a dig on the last lap..small gap with another guy or two..i look back and true to form a GS guy is sitting on me,man do they have them boys programed..i roll in with the group..stuck around to "start" the 30+..with the wind now blowing at 30+ mph i knew i was not going to last long...i did not..got to see lots of HVB brothers and sisters..Sean G and Mike Carney made the rest of the 3/4's look like beginners...Sean took the win...felt good...if their is a cooler thing then racing your bike let me know..good race...GBA..cyaa..luxxy

Again,it has been a good couple of weeks..not enough training,but whats a brother to do?? last week got a call from a mom looking for a BMX ride for her kid...they checked on line and wanted a Redline Micro-Mini..now for those of you that dont know a Micro mini is a TINY bike..my monster,almost 6yrs and over 4ft tall,could not come close to riding this thing...Friday they come down to pick it up...now their kid is smaller then John..i knew right aways it was a little small...they took it anyways..thank God,special order and all...well me and Jr went out to the BMX track Sunday nite..the bike in question was there..the lil guy was doin alright on it..this morning i get a call at bike central,it was the mom..they are going to sell it online..they are not mad at me,just themselves..live and learn..and now i got to order 2 new BMX bikes..one for that lil guy and one for my PIA...yeah,i am getting sucked back into that world..the monster wants to race..Tue nites and Sunday nites..a big block of racing for me starts soon(this weekend)i got to start feeling better soon...great race on saturday nite..i also started working on this years race bike(cross)man,it cant start soon enough...all in good time...GBA..cyaa..deluxxy

Gonna pass on turkey Hill this year,that race has always been a thorn in my side..i really think,know i could finish this year..but Alas its not to be..got to work the shop instead..i know,thats my job..i have someone who could cover for me but since he covered last week and it takes FOREVER to get home from down there i will pass this year....there is a big craft show in downtown Lebanon tomarrow..so everybody coming into the shop will be tyre kicking...better then the pinhead BMXers...tonites Busch race just getting started after the rain..and Richmond tomarrow under the lites..does it get any better then that? feeling better and better on the bike...i quess less is more..who would have thought? Opened up the '06 race season this past weekend...the Farmersville weekend has been the starter for me the last few years..they are good races...in the 40+ this year,thank God..Sat was the RR,sat in most of the day till the "race" started..about 2 to go..felt good,came in 9th,i think like 3rd in the field sprint..good start..Sun morn was a hill TT..i hate TT's..so much so that i think Sun was the 2nd one i did in 17 yrs of Road Racing..i passed my 30 sec guy on the start of the hill,i in turn was passed by Markum and Ober,who by the way was flying..came in 22nd..not so good..Sun PM was a crit in Ephrata..great race,well done...i sat in ,it was all i could do..nasty head cold does not help...moved up a little, came in 17th i think..a OK start...it was good seeing all my 'cross buddys..weather was great and the races were good too..so it starts..another year in the saddle...what else is there to do??? till we talk again...GBA..cyaa..luxxy

Not much to talk about...things are going well at the shop...a ton of stuff is coming in at the end of the week...the Ridley Noah for a high dollar order will be in as will D. Greys new 'cross bike...Sinclair loves me.....its been good...great attacking Amstel race last Sunday..the Tour day Ga starts today,looks to be boring..the riders the Euros sent are so-so..nobody really stands out...Tommy D will win,Floyd top 5..maybe he will stick around to race "his" hometown race in 2 weeks...watched a great movie the other nite,Gangs of New York..got to rent a uncut copy...got the kid a baseball glove and "real" bat for Easter..we went up to the ball field to catch and hit on Saturday..he can hit a mile for a 5yr old..catchings another story...the only way to learn is to stand him back to a fence and catch with him...hes doing better..the black and blues are better too...we like watching baseball together..even though the Pillies are killing me already this year....got to go get the monster up..thats all for now....GBA..cyaa..luxxy

i train the old fashion way..go till it hurts,no H/R no power tap...not that theres anything wrong with that stuff,its just not for me...i know when my bodys telling me to back off..the last few years i know that after 'cross i need to take it easy for awhile...my road season starts in a few weeks,thats fine with me...i have easy goals to reach on the road..finish...i start to take it up a notch or two by july,then full on in Aug/sept..it has worked in the past, it will work again this year..it is getting harder though...the racing in the Masters class has gotten really good...everybody has stepped it up a notch...with the time i have lately its just been balls to the walls on the bike...once warmed up i go hard the whole ride...we will see in a few weeks if it works...shake down ride on Sunday was good,nothing fell off the bike..it did feel like i was riding in sand for the first hour or so...strange...going to be racing for HVB on the road this year too..one man gang..what else is new...good P/R yesterday..poor Geo...and by the way,Trains suck...fuckn frogs,they even fuck up that race....and Boonen,when you run out of gas dont blame the arrow....life was still 2nd...OK..enough BS for today...GBA...cyaa..luxxy...where the hells my H/R monitor!!

As i write,Mel Brook's History of the world prt 1 is on..great movie...anyways,it was a good week at shop Deluxx...just moving right along....had the "big" grand opening yesterday....pissin rain and cold...the story of my life....got a visit yesterday from old brother "Jake" Gahres..he could have been one of the best racers around..he just would rather make money...nothing wrong with that....put the new rig together on Weds..shake down ride tomarrow...3/4 hrs should do it...after that Easter egg hunt with the cracker head..mmmm egg salad..for the next week...tomarrow Roubaix..Boonen/George in what ever order..i think Geo can beat the "machine"...Cyaa...deluxxy

Its been a good week so far,the last two nites have been spent watching(for the 23rd time)The Godfather,parts 1-2...now everyone knows part 1 is one of the best movies EVER made...part 2 is not up to 1 but good otherwise..the one liners are the best....last nite we did the the Lux sink or swim method of learning how to ride a bike..the kid was out dicking around with his ride...now was as good as any time to learn...he got on it,gave him a good shove...and we have another hazard on the road...he got it...now he did crash into the trash a few times!!!fuckn priceless...after awhile he was doing good,as long as he kept pedaling...a few days to the grand opening..that should be a circus...great Flanders on Sunday,watching those guys walk up the Muur was unreal...Disco looked good...Big Tom is unbeatable...poor Mike Barry,the guy has NO luck...tomarrow Ghent...i am quessing Ballan...cant wait till Sunday....remember,leave the bike,take the canoli....Cyaa..luxxy

Ah,the sun comes out and all the people who have been driving bye the shop and looking in for the last 3weeks come in...maybe it took them that long to find a parking spot.....the new ride came in today,plain jane Ridley..still sweet...the BOSS was there when it came in...busted...after some quick thinking she was told that i had to take it to become a Ridley dealer..well thats half true.....very busy this week..Thank God...brain dead from a few weeks ago blows in yesterday with cash in hand and rides out with a new rig...5 will get ya 10 someone is in the shop in about a week trying to sell it back to me.....ya got to take the protection plan....got two tune ups today,friends of mine...of course they bring them in muddy as hell....ahhh,i love wrenching...it was a pretty good March...soon time to turn them pedals in anger...please God,send us Phil this weekend for Flanders coverage...if i got to hear Bobke talking about his Durango homeboys anymore im gonna kick the TV in...its over Bob..its over.....look out 45+'s,Doug Grey's stepping up to the plate with a trick ride for this season..COULD make the step up...time will tell...now get out and ride!!!..GBA..cyaa luxxy

ahhh,the smell of a new car...we are welcoming a new member to the family...Scrappy-du,son of the first scoobyydu...(subaru)..my subaru is about to take a shit,so in with a "new" one..now anyone who was lucky enough!! to go to a race with me knows that the last car was less then wonderful....shake,rattle and roll...well today all that ends,for a while anyways...a new car for me is a 2001 subaru with 80,000 on it...just getting broke in...runs good looks ok..its more then good enough for me...i grew up driving "used",my Dad sold cars for all my life and i drove all kinds of junk...i cut my teeth in a OLD toyota tk,hell know that i think of it i did not even know that they made toyotas back then....then came the motor-head cars...yeah, they were all junk too..but they were fun,and if they all came back and ever told the stories....plus ,back in the day,my first subaru was a Brat,yeah you remember them,with the seats in the back and all...they were small inside but you could do a lot in them......i rolled that bad boy...we rolled it back over,pounded the roof out,put a new windsheld in it and sold it,to the guy who now makes my signs for the shop...that Brat rocked..some days(nites)harder then others....'nuff said....God,it sucks getting old....GBA..cyaa..luxxyy

Well i quess i am not going to road nats after all...it filled up in like 10 mins.....now i am no great climber anymore, but looking at the list i can tell you right now that better then half that field is not gonna finish that RR...if it is the course they always use out there it is FUCKN sick...i will save it for 'cross...they better have a WIDE starting line..if you know what i mean.....some guys will be bringing it in a trailer.....and did i read that entry fee correct?..100.00 bucks for 2 races..fuck that....i quess all that pays for one "pro" rich kid to go to worlds....i must remember to be nice....this is starting to sound like stolen underground...theres no doping in amateur racing anyways.......sold another high dollar rig yesterday,cant give away a 300.00 dollar bike, but 3000.00+ bikes are selling great..all well,take the good with the bad...no worries..thank God America voted off that geek kevin..OK Hebe,whos gonna win?..thats all folks...GBA..cyaa..luxxy

Ok,i am still freezing my ass off,nice weather can not get here soon enough...things moving right along at Deluxx,put the first of the Scotts together today..Nice bikes..the great one called me today at the shop,Mark Light..his Dad was in the other week and he wanted to know who was talking about him...he tracked me down...i have always got on good with Lighty..he is a little out there..he team should do well(like always)..i am going to race in HVB colors for the road season,Nuff said...frame should be in soon..i hope...been feeling good on the bike..more quality then endless miles....hell, my longest race will be around 50/60 miles...good job KK on Monday..Jr with a nice 3rd...if he would not have come in for tyres last Sunday he would be really up in points...who cares,when their season ends we will be in the middle of ours...God,'cross cant get here soon enough...if i got to answer one more stupid question from some BMX pinhead i am going to scream!! so it beguins...their are no stupid ?'s just stupid people..a wise man said that once..boy, was here right...ok,got to go to little Johns Kindergarden meeting,that should be a picnic!!..pray for me...GBA..cyaa..luxxyy

Ok,its been a BIT windy..thank God the sign at the shop did not come down...had one of the locals in the shop today..after a half a hour of him standing there watching me work and not saying anything i asked him if he works...he tells me he is unemployed....i said about checking McD's..he said he already worked there and had to quit cause he could not handle the "stress"..WHAT THE FUCK...i sez yeah droping those frites is hard work and very stressful!!!i had to close and go get a coffee to get him to leave...its not even summer yet....i cant wait till all the out of work wacko's find me....other then the watcher its been good....WTF,American Idiol..Kevin F'nn sucks...hey,Hebe i was sure Kelly was gonna get the boot...God i need a life....More to come...GBA..cyaa..luxxy

Up and running...well slowly..things are going well at Pa's newest bike shop..getting ready to ride in soon..it is fuckn windy out..i quess it cant hurt me....brought Scott USA in for road and high end Mtn bikes..they seem to be a great Co to work with..we will see...Floydy nailed them at Nice,thank God for a world champ that trains after his win...he will win ONE of the big spring classics(San remo)..Greorge will take either De Rhonde or Roubaix..but not both....thanks to OLN,a little tv time is better then none...even with Bobke....ok thats all...Cyaa luxxy

I need one,BMX freestyle bikes suck..not the bikes themselves,but the giros thingy they put on them....WTF..why do you need to spin the bars around anyways...they are a pain in the ass to set up...i can put a "normal" bmx bike togather in about 20 mins..the freestyle bikes..well a bit longer...its all good though..opening of PA's newest shop should be Monday,if the creek dont rise...AI just came on and i am listining to the first guy sing and "little Simon" is already telling us he is not that good...you should have heard him last nite....he gets a song in his head and he sings it, well he really kills it all day long.... he has been driving me nuts in at the shop...and its a short drive....oh,had a good 2 hr ride today..feeling good...got that Velo News buyers guide today,checking it out and went to the "cross section...theres Katie..i thought back to nats in Marcs room with everybody,what other sport can you hang out with one of the best....anyways,thats all for now...Truck, give me a call...GBA..cyaa..luxxy

too busy to talk or post...my bike mechanic skills came back pretty quick,they had too...things are going good,just a few more days..pray for me...feel good on the bike..i will get smoked when the season starts,so what,i am a 'crosser!!got on a bunch of BMX bikes today,CANT wait to build them Wedsday!!things went as expected at the Tour day EPO..Floydy smoked them,i beat him a few times way back in the day(big Deal)I remember running into him on road rides BTD,he was on his Mtb bike with knobbys,he dropped us,he was only out 6 1/2 hrs that day!!he is the man,and no he wont win in July...thats all for now,AI is on...GBA..cyaa luxxy... BTW,if there are any road teams out there who need a masters racer who will work hard for the team,let me know....

I have been listening to alot of CD's lately..all classic rock and soundtracks ...almost all of it from the 60/70's..i really cant stand to listen to the radio anymore...we have three semi-good radio stations around HQ..93.5,the Peak and the River..all are Classic rock stations...they are ok..we also have the X..they have really started to suck over the last bunch of years..it all started when the dumped Howard...their morning team is worst then a joke...all the "new" music sucks anyways...just got the 2nd Dazed and Confuzed? soundtrack..it is missing two good songs but other then that is as good as the first one...i was told i would like the ST to" Dogtown and the Z boyz"..would I Fat?...its funny how all that skater stuff has come back in the last few years..i was really into the whole skate scene back in the mid to late 70's..Dog Town,G&S,Logan Earth Ski et all..it was so cool just to carve around..all the kids into it today seem like punks...i quess we were too....maybe still am??it seems i got to start training a little harder,Fat and Fort seem to be putting in hard days,i dont want to get dropped by "mountain bikers" when they come up to visit...oh,getting back to music..the only bad thing is when they do those "where are they now"shows is that ALL those rockers from the 60/70's look like shit,it sucks getting old..well, almost all of them,some are so "pickled" that they have not aged in 30 yrs..we all know who they are......well thats enough shit for tonite...AI's on...cyaa luxxy...GBA

like my old man use to say,sold the first ride today..felt good to move a high end road bike..hope there are many more..well,Daytona is history for another year..i really hate Jimmy Johnson..that sissy Gordon too...I thought Jr. was going to do it there for awhile..then he got screwed in the middle lane..nobody would work with the guy...there is always Cali...the Busch race was good on Saturday..same result...my brother was scaring me,he said he was thinking about taking my nephew to a soccer game...watching paint dry would be more fun....starting to follow the "EPO tour" Americans should do well..the "real" season starts this weekend in the fatherland..Het Volk and K-B-K...someday i will go over there to watch the spring classics...from now to the end of April are the races that i enjoy following the most..the Classic riders are the best in the sport...i hope its Georges year at Flanders and or Roubaix...I raced against George H a few times back when he was a Jr doing SR races..the fuckin guy stomped...well,thats all for now...God Bless America..Cyaa..luxxy
